In addition to their established relationship in Brazil, the two companies will now team up in Argentina and Uruguay. They will provide both less-than-containerload (LCL) and full-containerload (FCL) services. The arrangement offers end-to-end local sales and customer support. CaroTrans has 14 local offices and 25 container freight stations throughout North America. The Craft Group, an NVO specializing in South America, has a team of 120 sales and customer-service professionals, with seven offices in Brazil and three elsewhere in Latin America. It has a 40-percent share of the Brazilian LCL market, according to CaroTrans. In April of 2012, CaroTrans announced a new Brazil LCL export service direct from Miami to Itajai.
