ART Logistics established its operational hub in Vilnius, Lithuania in 2008. Twenty five European countries are now connected with multiple destinations in Central Asia on existing lanes and now with Ulan Bator in Mongolia on the new service through Vilnius warehouse.
Based at the Vilnius hub, the logistics staff provides a range of value-added services including sorting, marking, packing, order collection and weighing. ART Logistics also organizes cross-docking of shipments according to the Customs requirements of the EU, Russia and Mongolia.
The trucks cover the 7,000-kilometer journey in 11 to 13 days across very harsh terrain, using a team of experienced local drivers.
"We launched the trucking service primarily to meet growing demand from international mining companies operating in Mongolia, the transit time is the fastest available in the market," said Tatiana Serova, commercial director of ART Logistics.
