The development, of approximately 33,000 square-meter at Hemelinger Hafen, will assist the production supply of the Mercedes Benz C and other models produced in Bremen. The logistics center to be known as Goodman Interlink Bremen is being developed on previously disused land that has been converted for logistics use by Goodman.
"This is Goodman's second project for Daimler in Germany and follows our successful co-operation in Malsch, which delivered a 46,000 square-meter facility," said Andreas Fleischer, Goodman's regional director for Germany.
Goodman is constructing the new logistics center within the immediate vicinity of the existing production facility. The development is flexibly designed and will serve as a drive-in warehouse to enhance the logistics of the production process.
