The JFK branch will support customers of both ocean and air services. The company's New York airfreight team, formerly stationed at headquarters in downtown Manhattan, will now be located at the JFK facility in Inwood, NY. The company said it was needed to facilitate growth in its customer base, as it boosts its market presence in airfreight. The JFK office is Laufer Group's 12th in the U.S. Earlier this year it opened its 11th in Memphis, Tenn. Heading up the JFK branch is director of operations Martin Karczewski.
