In its scheduled freighter services, the airline is adding one flight per week from Guangzhou to Brussels, bringing the total number of weekly flights to three; one flight per week from Dhaka to Brussels, bringing the total to five, and two additional flights per week from Nairobi, Kenya to Amsterdam, creating a daily service. According to Saudia Cargo, a number of those routes will undergo service upgrades, with B747-400Fs replacing MD11Fs on the Dhaka-Brussels and Nairobi-Amsterdam routes. The revised schedule will see the introduction of a new European destination, as the carrier readies its first-ever scheduled freight service from the U.K. to Saudi Arabia, beginning with two flights per week from Manston. Saudia Cargo will also increase belly capacity on passenger aircraft, with commencement this winter of thrice-weekly service, using B777-300s, to Toronto. Existing services to Paris will get an upgrade to widebody flights, with the use of A330 and B777 aircraft. Additional enhancements are slated for services to Casablanca, Morocco; Jakarta, Indonesia and Johannesburg, South Africa.
