Landair is offering GVA on three contract logistics services: dedicated contract carriage, warehouse and distribution management, and transportation management. In each case, the company’s logistics engineers involve each customer in a collaborative Value Identification and Enablement Workship (VIEW), to define value in terms that are specific and meaningful to the customer’s business. Landair then builds GVA metrics and milestones into the customer’s logistics strategy and contract, committing to progressively higher levels of value of the contract’s duration. If value metrics and milestones are missed, the contract specifies commensurate financial guarantees. Landair owns and operates a fleet of several hundred tractors and trailers, and manages an alliance network of more than 3,000 freight carriers nationwide.
