The services will connect Cali and Medellín in Colombia, and Havana in Cuba, to IAG's worldwide network of 350 destinations. It will bring to 19 the total number of IAG gateways in Latin America. In addition, IAG is increasing the number of flights it offers to and from Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic from five a week to daily, effective Apr. 1, 2015. Beginning on June 1, IAG will resume operations between its Madrid hub and Havana, with five weekly flights. The new route from Madrid to the two Colombian cities will operate as triangular flights between Madrid, Medellín, Cali and Madrid. Services will begin on July 3 and operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Both routes will be serviced by Airbus A330s.
