The company said it is serving two distribution customers at the location. It now offers logistics services at the four major U.S. import gateways, including New York/New Jersey, Los Angeles/Long Beach and Seattle/Tacoma. With the addition of Savannah, Port Logistics Group operates more than 5.5 million square feet of warehouse space in and around key U.S. ports. The new operation, covering 685,000 square feet, is located six miles from the Port of Savannah. For its new customers, the company will perform pick/pack and various value-added services, including kitting, price ticketing and labeling, and light manufacturing. Port Logistics Group's expertise extends to retail, apparel and general merchandise. It also provides omnichannel distribution, transloading and cross-docking, e-commerce fulfillment and national transportation.
