SAP AG has developed a new version of its customer relationship management software (SAP CRM). New capabilities of the application include management of trade-promotions, business communications and pipeline performance. The latest release also features a new user interface, which gives users easy access to all information needed to serve customers, the vendor said. The tool is equipped with Web 2.0 capabilities, providing user interfaces for sales, marketing and customer-service professionals. SAP CRM is part of the SAP Business Suite, which helps users to expand traditional call center-based processes across the organization, including field-based staff and experts at all locations. Enhancements to trade-promotions management and marketing-development funds activities allow for better use of promotional spend budgets, while achieving greater visibility, control and traceability of end-to-end funds and claims processes, SAP claimed.
