Last year, Shift expanded its California outbound services to cover 80 percent of the country. The latest addition is in response to rising demand from the carrier's third-party logistics (3PL) partners and direct shippers. Shift is now delivering California-bound shipments from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida, increasing outbound presence by 20 percent. In addition, Shift has expanded delivery to service 1,239 new direct points in Virginia from the California outbound market. Shift was already serving 31 states from California.
