Dubbed Express Easy, it is being piloted at four locations in Toronto and Ontario, giving walk-in customers access to lower prices from the standard DHL Express Worldwide service. Each box used for shipping under the new service, sold as a one-piece shipment, comes with a defined maximum weight and flat rate based on a variety of DHL envelope and box sizes. According to DHL, customers taking advantage of Express Easy at one of the pilot locations can send international export deliveries of documents and non-document shipments in a more cost-effective manner. The company said it plans to have the service available across Canada by April, 2016.
