Two realities-neither one pleasant-emerge when you study supply chain visibility. First, regulatory mandates and complex supply chains with short lead times each require visibility much further up the supply stream than is common today. Second, 90 percent of those surveyed by Aberdeen Group say they are not satisfied with the visibility they have.
