Cadre Technologies has released version 3.0 of its warehouse management system (WMS) software. The application improves functionality on a number of fronts. It supports catch weight operations in receiving, picking and inventory transactions. It lets warehouse workers build user-defined product density codes, which can be used for assisting pickers in building pallets for shipping. Barcoded date information capture allows for the application of date rules based on shipping destination. Web-access enhancements include workflow approvals, order file attachments and new ordering operations for third-party logistics providers. Improvements to the Cadence Mobile Logistics (CML) tool offer additional features in support of the picking process, including unit-of-measurement conversion. The application also includes integration to Pro Track, an advanced labor-management system that uses the data captured via Cadence Mobile Logistics. Cadre Technologies offers a variety of supply chain management software applications for fulfillment, logistics and manufacturing.
