Seko Worldwide is now offering software for managing global vendor purchase orders. According to the company, Seko's Supplier PO Management tool simplifies the management of multiple purchase orders from multiple vendors. It provides end-to-end visibility from vendor to warehouse and all the way through to delivery. All P.O. entries and changes are recorded and preserved, displaying the original entries, current status, changes made, who made them, and when. The software eliminates opportunities for lost or misplaced P.O.s, along with time spent on complicated spreadsheets and continuous follow-ups, the vendor claimed. Supplier PO Management is fully Web-based and integrated into MySEKO, Seko's online suite of applications for customer shipment management. Features include a fully integrated messaging system; streamlined interface with drop-down menus; point-and-click operation; ability to break down P.O.s into detailed, individual lines; a summary report providing a snapshot of all activity, and the ability of customers to run metrics on their vendors and quickly obtain performance reviews. If a single P.O. turns into multiple shipments, the line items can be tracked, covering information such as cost per item, exact time when shipments left the factory, and various milestones in between. All messages are fully traceable, so that users know whether they have been viewed.
