Magellan Transport Logistics has opened a branch office in Denver, CO. The company is a provider of transport logistics, warehousing and supply-chain management services. Mitch Luciano, president of Magellan Transport Logistics, said the move is part of a plan to expand operations through the country. Derek Johnstone, who most recently was branch manager of Gemini Traffic Sales in Highlands Ranch, CO and previously worked for C.H. Robinson in Iowa and Colorado, will manage the new Denver branch. Magellan is a division of MHF Holdings Co., a provider of logistics, packaging and transportation services. The company's five business units serve the general commodities, nuclear, environmental, mining, metals, chemical and petrochemical industries. Services include custom-made packaging, supplying of high-capacity equipment, multimodal transport options, warehousing and supply-chain management.
