Supply chain software vendor Manhattan Associates has launched Manhattan Active Supply Chain Planning (SCP),  a bi-directional unified business planning platform. The company says the software platform will bridge the gap between supply chain planning and execution, providing allocation and replenishment strategies in one application. It offers a unified business planning console designed to continuously optimize inventory, as well as essential resources within the supply chain.  

Manhattan also announced two new software tools that will bring generative AI (GenAI) to the supply chain, at scale. Manhattan Active Maven is a specialized, GenAI software tool that offers a customer service chatbot with access to orders, payments, store locations, and product availability. Manhattan Assist adds GenAI capabilities to all Manhattan Active solutions and will be included with all Manhattan Active Solution subscriptions. Assist provides a GenAI-powered assistant that provides contextual responses to any questions regarding product functionality, API structures, and more.
