Manhattan Associates, Inc. has released a new version of Manhattan Supply Chain Intelligence (SCI). The application is available for the vendor's Distribution Management and Transportation Lifecycle Management suites, within its software portfolio known as SCOPE (for Supply Chain Optimization - Planning Through Execution). Manhattan SCI includes a single user interface and data architecture for all capabilities, including analysis, reporting and alerts. A role-based workbench can be deployed both to customer users and trading partners. Self-service, ad hoc querying capability allows users to get answers to questions that are not addressed by pre-set analyses and reports. The tool offers access to all analytics and reports directly via Microsoft Office applications and supported mobile devices. IBM Cognos 8 Business Intelligence software is embedded within SCI. Manhattan SCI contains hundreds of measurements, key performance indicators and analysis dimensions which give companies insight into trends within their supply chains, the vendor said.
