ClickSoftware Technologies Ltd. has entered into a global reseller agreement with SAP AG. The deal calls for SAP to resell ClickSoftware's ServiceOptimization suite as the SAP Workforce Scheduling and Optimization application by ClickSoftware. The software is designed to help companies manage and optimize their mobile service workforces. The new product, based on ClickSchedule 7.5, will complement the workforce planning and scheduling capabilities of the SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) applications for field-service management and asset management. It features real-time optimized scheduling, maintenance scheduling, customer-demand forecasting, shift and roster planning, and business analytics. ClickSchedule 7.5 has achieved "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" status. SAP and ClickSoftware will offer the joint product to customers within multiple industries across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
