HighJump Software Inc. has released a warehouse management system (WMS) that is designed to be configured to user requirements and deployable in as few as 45 days. The HighJump Warehouse Advantage Express is built upon the same technology that underlies the vendor's tier-one HighJump Warehouse Advantage application. Companies can add more complex capabilities as business demands warrant, without the need for a new system, the vendor said. Advantage Express is priced for small and mid-sized distribution operations. Features include the tracking and visibility of inbound orders, directed putaway, multiple picking methods, shipping, directed replenishment and inventory control. Implementations are structured by a detailed playbook, which directs daily activity and provides specific instructions by role and responsibility. A flexible pricing structure includes both license and subscription-based options. Companies can add more complex features and modules as needed over time.
