New Generation Computing has released RedHorse 2009, the latest version of its enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for apparel, footwear and fashion wholesalers and manufacturers. RedHorse 2009 offers enhanced Web functionality with secure access available to management, internal users and customers. Through Web-based reporting, authorized users can generate and view RedHorse reports from any location. They can securely access and review critical business information, such as current inventory levels, available to sell and financial position. Authorized customers can use secure Web access to enter orders, collaborate and review the status of orders. The new software includes additional query capabilities and reporting enhancements, such as the ability to schedule reports to run at specified times. It also offers greater reporting flexibility through the use of Structured Query Language (SQL) reporting services and core datamarts, which allow information to be analyzed in multiple formats. Additional features include secure credit card pre-approval and processing, multi-currency selling, single sign-in access to SQL Series, support for pre-packed products, and third-party software integration.
