Anoowa Inc. has created billFLO, an electronic invoicing network for small businesses. The tool eliminates paper invoices by electronically connecting vendor and customer accounting systems. Vendor's e-mail computer-readable billFLO invoices to customers who, in turn, use billFLO to import the electronic invoices into their accounting systems. According to Anoowa, a small business receiving 100 paper bills each month requires at least six hours or $400 to process the incoming invoices manually. billFLO eliminates that expense. billFLO integrates with many invoicing and accounting systems, including FreshBooks, Quickbooks, Less Accounting, Harvest and Blinksale. Anoowa said it will continue to launch interfaces for both U.S. and international accounting systems throughout 2009.
