Trillium Software, a vendor of data-quality applications, has released version 12 of the Trillium Software System. The tool supports high-volume data profiling and discovery, data cleansing and data-quality dashboards and reporting. The latest version features a number of enhancements that accelerate the design and deployment of real-time data-quality programs across an organization. Through a capability called ActiveEnterprises Resources, the software supplies a platform for expanding existing processes into wider applications, which include master data management, risk and compliance, and data governance. The dashboard and reporting capabilities help companies to translate data-quality results into business terms and metrics, for a clearer understanding of their impact on business operations, the vendor said. A business-rules library allows users to design and share rules across multiple data sources and systems, from one location. The user interface features the ability to create language-specific screens, as well as help and context-sensitive display information.
