Vocollect's latest software release for ruggedized mobile computers supports all four of the leading vendors in the logistics and distribution market: Intermec, Psion, LXE and Motorola. Version 2.0 of the Vocollect VoiceClient for Handheld Computers complements the vendor's Talkman mobile appliances for voice technology in distribution centers and warehouses.  Features include greater flexibility for multilingual workforces, extended battery life, interleaving of voice with scanning when needed, and support for most barcode formats. It will be available in the Americas and EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) over the next two months. Release will take place in two waves, the first in July and the second in the fourth quarter. Later this year, the company will extend Vocollect Voice for multi-vendor mobile computers with its newest client software application, VoiceCatalyst.
