The venture is intended to minimize supply-chain risk encountered by customers while their cargo is in transit. OnAsset's SENTRY technology senses temperature, pressure, humidity, light, motion, speed, shock and vibration of assets moving by truck, plane, rail or intermodal freight. Flemming provides round-the-clock monitoring for the OnAsset tracking devices, in addition to such services as security evaluation, covert shadowing of cargo in high-theft areas, reverse logistics and multi-phased recovery plans in the event of a theft. The company maintains a network of some 189,000 law enforcement contacts throughout North America, with the ability for immediate dispatch in cases of emergency.
