This parallel operation was designed to process the bulk of the volume and tasked with 'talking' to the conveyor management system that ran the pick process to ensure highly accurate order processing.
Results: The fulfillment operation transitioned on time and on target, with both facilities fulfilling 100 percent of online orders from the retailer's web sites within six months. Since the start up of operations the site has continued to create new value for the customer through flawless order fulfillment execution and process improvement.
