According to the vendor, the new product is the largest available database of existing consumer-product factories. It contains more than 30,000 authenticated factory profiles, with more than 1,000 listings being added each month. Consumer goods professionals can get instant access to a directory of factories for locating new suppliers or authenticating factory details, Intertek said. Each factory profile in the database contains an Intertek Trust ID, validating its existence and basic information. Details within each profile include factory address, number of employees, year of establishment, contacts, business license and photos. Intertek is currently offering subscription packages of one, three and 12 months. The Find My Factory app is available at the Apple App Store and Google Play.
