Zurich, Basel, Indianapolis, Tokyo, Osaka, Melbourne and Sydney have become accredited in cooperation with Envirotainer, the global provider of active temperature-controlled air-freight containers. Services are also increasingly being provided to the perishable-foods market, DB Schenker said. It expects nine more locations to gain QEP status by the end of March, 2013. In partnership with Envirotainer, DB Schenker is "ensuring that our customers' need for a seamless temperature-controlled worldwide supply is met," said Thomas Mack, senior vice president and head of global air freight with Schenker AG.
