The new partnership will offer less-than-containerload and full-containerload import and export cargo services between North America and the Philippines. They include a direct, weekly service to Manila from Long Beach, Calif. with a 22-day transit, and Manila to Los Angeles in 17 days. The Los Angeles service offers inland points intermodal (IPI) connections to more than 75 North American locations. Multifreight has offices in all major Philippine ports, including Manila, Davao and Cebu. It provides pre-carriage services from Davao and Cebu to Manila. CaroTrans will connect with MFCSI via electronic data interchange to expedite the transfer of freight data for the collaborative services.
