Slated to begin operations in September, the location will support Schneider's customer base through its Western Regional service, covering 11 states. Schneider said it has experienced growth of more than 40 percent in load volumes in Arizona over the past year. The company is hiring up to 200 drivers to operate out of the facility. It has 36 locations across North America, providing operations, customer service and driver services for its van truckload, dedicated and bulk divisions. Regional miles now make up nearly half of the carrier's Van Truckload total miles. Schneider's regional truckload service is offered in the 48 contiguous states, with hubs in four regions. Other service locations in the western region are located in Fontana, Calif.; French Camp, Calif.; North Salt Lake City, Utah and Portland, Ore.
