The equipment will be used for the movement of fresh produce and food products across the country. The deal is the first of several orders that Tiger Cool will be placing as its business grows, according to chief executive officer Tom Finkbiner. The initial equipment is being supplied by Quest Capital, Inc. The intermodal containers have been ordered from Hyundai Translead and will be manufactured in Tijuana, Mexico. The refrigeration units will be provided by Carrier Transicold, with Startrak Telematics units supplying geophysical tracking, internal temperature monitoring and control, including door-opening sensors, fuel sensors and accelerometer measurement devices. The containers will be delivered in February of 2014, the company said.
