The arrangement extends CaroTrans’s network of owned offices throughout China and adds direct, weekly services from Qingdao and Tianjin to the U.S. As a local NVO, Qingdao-based World Jaguar offers direct less-than-containerload services to the U.S. from Qingdao. CaroTrans now provides coverage of all major Chinese ports, with 35 direct, weekly LCL consolidation services from China to the U.S. LCL services are offered from Shanghai, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Xingang, Guangzhou and Ningbo to points throughout the U.S. CaroTrans’s U.S.-to-China LCL service network includes direct, weekly services from Los Angeles, Chicago and New York to all major ports in China, the company said.
