Formerly known as FlexNet, the new product suite includes greater integration to process plan and work instructions management, with a “digital thread” to facilitate end-to-end traceability, closed-loop operations management and accelerated new-product introduction. The tool helps to ensure that engineering-designed work instructions are properly executed on the shop floor. It covers such processes as manufacturing bill of materials, routings and 3D work instructions. New features include improved synchronization of 2D and 3D work instructions between Delmia Digital Manufacturing and Apriso applications, greater visibility into engineering and manufacturing process performance and intelligence, and improved linkage of manufacturing process definitions from PLM, ensuring greater process-adherence monitoring and enforcement and reducing time to market, Dassault claimed.
