Solution: We invested in a customized lighting system with the fluorescence and brightness to quickly identify glue within defined cycle times.The installation occurred over one weekend, when the facility was closed to avoid disruption to operations.

Results: In the four years since the system was installed, no quality issues related to glue on the A-surfaces have been reported. The system was seamlessly integrated into our sub-assembly process without increasing cycle time.
