The new line of sensors includes an integrated image-formation system with field-interchangeable lenses and a patent-pending LED ring light that produces even, diffuse illumination across the entire image, eliminating the need for external lighting. The In-Sight 2000 series can be applied to simple vision applications out of the box, Cognex said. The In-Sight Explorer EasyBuilder interface provides a fast, step-by-step application setup, the vendor added. Cognex products include barcode readers, machine vision sensors and machine vision systems.
