Leveraging FourKites, JDA customers receive a transportation tool that addresses all loads and supports carrier connectivity, efficient on-boarding and real-time access to viewing the entire the supply chain. FourKites presented at the JDA FOCUS 2017 global conference last week on how real-time visibility can improve overall customer service and carrier operations.
"We strive to make the customer journey as seamless as possible and believe visibility and orchestration are key components of that," said Fabrizio Brasca, vice president of solution strategy for Intelligent Fulfillment at JDA. "Utilizing FourKites' ability to provide real-time, continuous location tracking, predictive analytics, interactive mapping and other features will allow JDA to continue to deliver unmatched transportation planning and execution capabilities for our customers."
Covering the spectrum of the transportation industry, FourKites says it provides one of the industry's most comprehensive visibility capabilities — integrating truckload, less-than-truckload (LTL), rail, parcel and ocean (available in Q3 of 2017). For LTL tracking, FourKites and SMC3 joined forces to create a single integration point for all LTL carriers to provide granular visibility information across all legs of the shipment.
FourKites has also completed full integration of HERE Maps, providing truck-specific routing and mapping. It further enhances ETA accuracy with Hazmat, 53' trailer and height/weight restrictions, the software company says.
"FourKites is proud to deliver deep, industry-standard LTL and rail tracking capabilities to JDA's recommended over-the-road shipment tracking platform," said Craig Fiander, senior vice president of global business development at FourKites. "With numerous JDA Transportation Management integrated customers, we have listened carefully to their needs and worked closely with the JDA team to deploy immediate omni-modal functionality without any custom integration work. This highlights JDA and FourKites' commitment to award-winning innovation."
