Software provider Fleetio has launched a Spanish language option for its mobile fleet maintenance app. 

Fleetio estimates that nearly a quarter of its users speak Spanish. Now, those users can submit inspections, log fuel, and complete work orders in their native language. 

"We understand the importance of a diverse workforce within the fleet maintenance industry,” Fleetio vice president of produce Esteban Contreras said. "This not only simplifies daily tasks and improves communication, but ultimately equates to a safer, more efficient fleet operation for everyone involved.”

Fleetio says that its new Spanish language option can help cut down on the need for specialized training resources, as well as language barriers related to reporting issues. The app is also now able to send push notifications in a user's preferred language.
