Sato, the vendor of automatic identification and data collection technology, has released the latest version of its labeling software, Label Gallery. Version 3 (LG3) features new Software Developer Kits, to aid developers in the creation of applications for PCs and mobile devices. It also offers integration with a variety of third-party applications, including warehouse management, enterprise resource planning and hospital information management. The update has completed certification testing for Windows Vista. Its wizard-driven interface has been enhanced with improved printing control and extended design capabilities. LG3 offers multilingual support, using the Unicode standard. Sato offers a number of products based on radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, compliant with Electronic Product Code (EPC) standards.
