The Aljex Load Board from Aljex Software offers available truckloads from the company's freight broker and third-party logistics (3PL) provider customers. Access to the Load Board is free for carriers initially, and will remain so for those that sign on during an introductory period. Aljex sells a range of hosted software for freight brokers, carriers and 3PLs. Only brokers that are Aljex customers can post to the Load Board. As a result, the company said, carriers are assured that every load on the Load Board comes through an Aljex customer. Most Aljex broker and 3PL customers are members of the Transportation Intermediaries Association, the company said. Because the Aljex software is hosted over the internet, loads generated by Aljex customers can be made available to carriers through the same website. As part of the vendor's service, all broker and carrier customers have the option of automatically posting loads to the major commercial load boards in North America. Aljex said it will soon launch a similar board for participating carriers to post their available equipment.
