Zenith Freight Lines has added 12 sleepover cabs to its fleet of vehicles offering expedited transload service from California to ports across the country. The Freightliner Cascadia raised-roof units were added to meet growing domestic shipping demand for team-truck service, the carrier said. Zenith Global Logistics currently runs coast to coast in 48 hours via its expedited services offering. In addition, it recently announced an in-home delivery service through a partnership with Exel Direct, giving retailers the ability to deliver orders to shoppers' doorsteps in under a week. Zenith Global is a supply-chain and logistics provider specializing in international and domestic warehousing, transportation and distribution of home furnishings. Serving all of North America and the Caribbean, the company operates more than 4.5 million square feet of domestic warehouse space, with 11 locations in Southern California, Texas, North Carolina and Virginia.
