Zoho Projects, the online project-management and collaboration application from Zoho, has been integrated with Google Apps. Zoho's software is now available to all Google Apps users, complete with unified login and embeddable gadget options. As a result, Google Apps users can log into Zoho Projects by way of their existing usernames and passwords. After being granted permission for Zoho to access the Google Apps account information, the user is directed to Zoho Projects. No separate login is required. Once logged on, Zoho Projects users can upload files from Google Apps and attach them to their projects. They can open, view and edit those files in corresponding Zoho applications, such as Zoho Writer and Zoho Sheet. Additional highlights include calendar integration, with the ability to automatically add meetings and project milestones from the Zoho Projects calendar to a Google calendar; a Zoho Projects gadget which can be embedded in iGoogle, Gmail, Google Sites and other online applications that support Open Social; and a free first project, allowing Google Apps users to try out the software without risk. Prices for additional projects start at $12 per month.
