Voice technology from Voxware has been integrated with the warehouse management system (WMS) software of RedPrairie Corp. Available immediately from RedPrairie, the Voxware 3 voice application comes with prepackaged voice workflows. The integration features a loosely coupled interface, which allows the voice system and WMS to evolve independently of one another, without having to open up the source code. The result, claimed the partners, is faster deployment, increased flexibility and improved long-term return on investment. The voice technology is available from RedPrairie Corp. through a reseller agreement with Voxware, and operates as an extension to the RedPrairie WMS.
