Kimberly-Clark, a global leader in health, hygiene and well-being brands and the solutions they provide, has awarded DSC Logistics substantial new contracts at centers in Illinois and California.

At DSC's new logistics center in Redlands, Calif., Kimberly-Clark will combine its Consumer and Professional divisions' products, as part of the "Network of the Future" strategy to move away from mill-based DCs into regional mixing centers. DSC will be handling the full line of Kimberly-Clark Consumer products, including Cottonelle, Kleenex and Huggies brands, as well as Professional products, including products and systems made for the washroom under brands like Scott, Kleenex and Kleenguard. DSC will be providing warehousing and custom kitting services, with outbounds to the Los Angeles and Southwest U.S. regions.

At the Romeoville, Ill., logistics center, DSC will provide warehousing services and WMS technology for Kimberly-Clark's Professional division.

Kimberly-Clark, a DSC customer since 1992, also occupies space in six other DSC facilities.
