Voxware Inc., a vendor of software for voice-driven warehouse operations, has released version 4.1 of the Voxware 3 product suite. The update, which is immediately available, includes a number of enhancements. New provisions for advanced "bucket brigade" picking allow assignments to be passed from one worker to the next as orders are fulfilled. A new console feature enables site managers to batch and split multiple assignments, permitting on-the-spot decision-making. The built-in WMS Adapter Framework is a visual integration tool which was designed to reduce the time involved in building and maintaining voice interfaces with virtually any WMS, according to Voxware. New mobility devices from Motorola, Psion Teklogix and LXE have been certified with the new release, the vendor said.
