IFS Defense is partnering with Savi Technology to provide real-time information solutions for the aerospace and defense market.  The partners will integrate Savi's RFID systems with IFS' ERP software, which they say will improve planning, decision-making and performance when transporting assets and consignments across the extended supply chain.

The Savi solution is designed to automatically track and manage consignments tagged with RFID tags and other types of automatic identification and data collection devices, including barcodes, sensors and global positioning systems. In addition to identification and location information, CMS provides automated alerts, environmental conditions, and analytics.
