The tool was designed to help mid-market companies manage their price structures, with the intent of reducing margin leaks, improve profitability and comply with state laws. The update offers the ability to optimize the three-tier pricing structure from retail shelf back to original purchase and shipping. According to Vistaar, it can proactively manage margins; analyze gross profit through reporting, including weighted average models; and allow for downstream integration to systems for FOB (free-on-board), list price, discounts and price support. The Vistaar application provides transparency to the user community while enabling collaborative decision-making across sales, marketing and finance groups. Vistaar's global network includes six offices across North America, Europe and Asia.
