Flash Europe general manager Philippe Higelin said the company is focusing on international accounts in the automotive and pharmaceutical industries. Roberts is one of the continent's largest providers in the direct and special deliveries segment, in addition to offering service to the automotive sector and other industrial customers. Roberts has access to around 6,000 vehicles and 3,000 partners, according to director of sales Gianni Maes. There are 160 employees at the Maastricht site and in the Warsaw and London offices. Flash made some 400,000 special deliveries last year. In addition to direct service, it also offers air charter, on-board couriers and multimodal freight options. Its network spans 78 countries, with offices in 15 countries in Europe.
