Combined with its existing presence in the U.S., the company's expanded network will allow mid-sized retailers to reach consumers in the two largest e-commerce markets, according to Webgistix chief executive officer Joseph DiSorbo. The company claims savings of 50 percent on shipping costs, and five to seven days on delivery times, when orders are shipped to European Union consumers from the new fulfillment centers. Webgistix offers order-fulfillment services through an international network of centers. SmartFill, its cloud-based fulfillment platform, works with all major shopping carts and is optimized for mobile commerce.
