SID specializes in the Vocollect Voice product line. According to HighJump, the partnership will give customers an expanded portfolio of configurable voice options, including for distribution-related tasks such as picking, receiving and replenishment, and manufacturing processes such as kitting, assembly and inspection. The tool includes 10 voice-technology configurations that can be set by warehouse, pick area or employee. In the process, a company can establish different requirements based on particular needs, such as the ability to skip a slot, speak the slot location for validation, validate staging locations or determine whether the item name is spoken to the user. HighJump said its relationship with SID will enable seamless integration between a customer's existing warehouse-management system or enterprise resource planning system, and speech-recognition technology.
