The 6110 features upgraded technology, including an 800 MHz processor, new barcode-scanning and decoding capabilities, increased memory and a broader WLAN radio-frequency usage. It offers full-shift battery life, a 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen display and 28-key shifted alpha-numeric keyboard. The ergonomic design carries an IP54 rating, allowing the device to withstand drops on concrete. The 6110 also includes Honeywell's Adaptus 6.0 imaging technology for reading 2D barcodes. It can integrate with Honeywell's Remote MasterMind device-management software, and also provides backwards and forwards compatibility with existing Dolphin 6100 peripherals and accessories.
