The 20-year-old group, formerly known as PROFITgroups, enables peer-to-peer interaction and financial benchmarking. Members meet in person twice a year, with each meeting hosted by a group member. The meetings focus on a variety of home goods and retail industry-specific topics, including sales, advertising, delivery, warehousing and distribution. Group leaders are consultants Wayne McMahon and David McMahon, who offer their expertise in finance, retail operations, sales and marketing strategies and other areas of business. The Accellos Performance Group’s first meeting will be held on early November in San Diego, Calif. Accellos offers a variety of applications for logistics service providers and mid-sized businesses, including warehouse and transportation-management systems, fleet management, retail store operations, transportation optimization and supply-chain business intelligence.
